TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. PURCHASING A GIFT CARD/E-CERTIFICATE
A gift card or e-certificate may be sent to the recipient via email or regular mail. An e-certificate will be emailed to the recipient within 48 hours of purchase. Gift cards will ship from our warehouse within 3-7 business days after purchase. A gift card can be mailed to either the recipient’s or the purchaser’s address. Gift cards/e-certificates can be purchased for a single title, one-year subscription from the selection of offers available on our purchase website.

2. REDEEMING A GIFT CARD/E-CERTIFICATE
Gift cards/e-certificates must be redeemed online at: www.GiveAMagazine.com in exchange for a one-year magazine subscription as specified in the offer on the card. When you enter the redemption code you will be presented with the list of eligible magazines to choose among. Gift cards/e-certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund, except as otherwise provided by law. Subscriptions are valid for delivery to a U.S. address only.

3. LOST GIFT CARDS/E-CERTIFICATES
We regret that we are unable to replace a lost or stolen gift card/e-certificate or code. The risk of loss and title for the gift card/e-certificate pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission to the recipient or delivery to the carrier, whichever is applicable.

4. EXPIRATION DATE
There is no expiration date for the gift card/e-certificate. However, in accordance with escheat or abandoned property laws of certain states, gift cards/e-certificates may be presumed abandoned if there is no activity for an extended time period, and the value of the card may be remitted and reported to the certain state after the statutory abandonment period.

5. FRAUDULENTLY OBTAINED GIFT CARDS/E-CERTIFICATES
Condé Nast will have the right to refuse a gift card/e-certificate if a fraudulently obtained gift card/e-certificate is attempted to be redeemed or in other cases causing concern about security.

6. GOVERNING LAW
The terms and conditions associated with the issuance of gift cards/e-certificates will be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York and any action relating to gift cards/e-certificates or alleging a breach of this agreement must be brought in the state or federal courts in New York, NY.

7. EXPRESS/IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS
Condé Nast and its parent, subsidiaries and affiliates make no warranties, express or implied, with respect to gift cards/e-certificates, including without limitation, any express or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In the event a gift card/e-certificate code is inoperative, your sole remedy, and our sole liability, shall be the replacement of such gift card/e-certificate. Certain state laws do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. If these laws apply to you, some or all of the above disclaimers, exclusions or limitations may not apply to you and you might have additional rights.

9. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Use of the gift card/e-certificate constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions, and Condé Nast reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
